  1. 1800 block alley between E 5th Street and E 6th Street. There are also so many more gold plates, dolls, flowers to enjoy as well.

  5. Spelled that way in the caption. “Kitch” is Kitsch from the Kitchi Gammi Club

  6. This scene is no where near the club, whose name is an awkward mis-transcription of the phonetics of the Ojibwe word anyway, right? | Apr 3, 2013 | New Comment
  7. Hey Rhet … Dayyyymn, sometimes things are just for fun. But since you want to get all serious about this. Yes, in fact, the name of the Kitchi Gammi Club is an Anglicization of the Anishinabe (properly used instead of Ojibwe, especially when referring to the linguistics) word Gichigami -- meaning big or great water. “Kitch” sounds like “kitsch” so it seemed funny to me to be used in reference to a local manifestation of “kitsch”, of which there are many, thus warranting my use of a malapropism. What ever light humor that was intended has now been sucked dry by your needless grammarian interjection and my officious and snarky retort. Have a great day!
