Found dog

Found this dog running loose on Sixth Street and 11th Avenue East at about 1pm today. Male, no collar. We caught him, called the cops and he got hauled away to the animal shelter. Sorry, Mr. Husky! I hope someone picks him up soon. Super handsome dog, mouthy and full of energy. We would’ve kept him for the weekend but he was too big a handful.

That yard is so junky

Why say that, John r? That is so unnecessarily rude. Whoever said the imbeciles from Area Voices were navigating to PDD was absolutely correct.

Hi Maria...thank you for helping this beautiful dog out today. It is too cold for lost pets to be on their own. I hope his people find him soon.

A cart and a composter now classify as junky? Don't stop by my place then...
Cute husky! I hope he finds his way back home.

Hi all! I think this dog's name is Cobalt. He's one of my neighbor's dogs and has escaped on multiple occasions. My fiance and I left a note at their house (no one seemed to be home) letting them know where he's at. Poor guy! I'm glad he was found while it was still warmer out, but I feel bad that he has to spend the weekend cooped up, but I understand, he sure is a handful!

Huskies can be dumb as rocks. Dalmation/ Llassa Apso dumb. I should know, I was once responsible for single handedly caring for 107 of them. They've had the brains bred out so they could pull, friendly though. I think there should be a Husky owner's tax for Duluthians, for moments like this. I really do.

Herzog, what about this situation makes this husky dumb or something that the owner should be taxed for?

Because it's just standing there. It's not doing anything!

My husky was smart as hell, evil-genious levels smart. We had to go through great lengths to keep him from getting into trouble. However, my other husky is a blue-eyed chearleader. To scratch her head, she has to sit down and think about which leg to use.

I'm always amazed at the number of people who think that because huskies (and malamutes) like to run and explore, and they don't like to follow orders without a damn good reason, they are somehow dumb.

The difference between huskies and other dogs is that while they like people, they prioritize their own needs and wants over yours. Kind of like cats, but friendlier.

Allright, how about this scenario? City of Duluth snowplow man is driving by late at night, sees a wolf standing in someone's yard. He's got a wolf tag he hasn't filled yet and thinks, 'who's gonna know it was a city wolf?' Takes a shot, misses, kills a baby sleeping in the house next door. Now you've got a million dollar lawsuit on your hands against the city of Duluth, plus overtime, and guess what? The driver doesn't even live in here, and neither does the lawyer. Who do you think pays for that?

You set up a pre-disaster tax for all husky owners for situations like these so when the unthinkable happens, you're prepared. I know Donny Ness has my back on this.

Do I really need to go through all the possible disasters a friendly husky who likes to pull can cause on a family laden trail at Hartley? All because of a stupid husky?

I'm trying to help you people here. You're not making it very easy.

Piss on the fire and call the dogs in Herzog ... it's time to call it a day.

InDog, if God sends you suffering, it's because he loves you, and he wants to learn you good.

I don't believe in god...so, yeah, there's that.
