Tiffany Tarrolly and Pageant Police

Former Northland’s NewsCenter reporter Tiffany Tarrolly’s new project is called “Pageant Police,” a video series critiquing the physical beauty of contestants in the 2013 Miss USA pageant.

(This post originally contained an embedded video of the “Miss Maryland USA 2013 Critique.” We have removed the video in the interest of not giving it any more attention.)

The concept of the series is essentially to say mean things about the physical appearance of women who are in pageants. So anyone annoyed by women who are in pageants can experience something worse: women who say mean things about women who are in pageants.

The only thing more annoying would be me, for posting this, but I’ll soon be eclipsed in the annoying rankings by everyone who watches this video and then comments on it.

These girls have potty mouths.

These "women" know nothing about pageant life. Let's hope they feel better about themselves for this trite belittling.

Jenny5150

Perhaps being beautiful makes you insecure ... and requires you to lash out at pageant girls? This just seems a little raunchy. I hope she doesn't plan on getting back into news.

@Jenny5150 - True statement. Not trying to be catty, but she certainly has the nose for news.

And you're judging women based on their appearance.

emmadogs

Any woman (or man) who: decides to make their career out of their looks ; or who bases their career on the name "Tiffany" while criticizing others' looks, isn't exactly a humanist or feminist paragon. The best article I ever read was about how much money the average woman spends on cosmetics etc per lifetime, and how that could accumulate over a lifetime in investments.

I hope every tiffany out there revels in her god-given sexy looks, leaves every other Tiffany alone, invests all her erstwhile 'beauty enhancement' money in the market, and becomes a millionaire. That will be more important anyway when you turn 45 and have to rely on things besides your looks anyway.

Sorry, tiffanys and beauty pageants bring out the seasonal affective rant in me.

She actually does know a lot about pageants.

Hey!!! +10 for Hair of the Monk, his pic above is a PDD 1st! Where's Waldo?

Brittany Tarrolly looks like she singlehandedly keeps a third-world lipstick factory in business.

Nobody ever built a monument to a critic.

Ramos

And the irony of a TV news reporter mocking an event for being mostly based on appearance is too much. If Tiffany Tarrolly ever reported a story that she didn't read from cue cards, I'll eat my hat.

Man, I can't stand these women. I've had women like them in my cab before, too many times, and it was always a teeth-gritting experience.

Paul Lundgren

I'm still holding out hope, for the sake of humanity, that this video is a parody of something.

But let's take a moment to review what has happened so far.

1) Someone e-mails me to let me know this video exists and it features a former local television personality.

2) I watch the video, thinking it might be interesting or amusing in some positive way, and worth sharing on PDD. (If it were boring I'd be inclined to stop watching and forget about it.)

3) Upon realization that it is not good and not boring, but instead infuriating and awful, I for some reason feel obligated to watch the whole thing and then take time out of my life to suggest to others that they might want to take time to dislike it as much as I do.

4) Even though, in the very process of sharing the video, I note that I am being annoying by sharing the video and everyone who comments on it will be even more annoying than me, people immediately start commenting on it.

5) The general reaction in the comments is to say mean things about the appearance of the women who are saying mean things about the appearance of other women.

So the one thing we have established here is that everyone involved in this on every level is ugly.

emmadogs

But I gave out some valuable lifestyle and investment advice! That's not ugly. That is profound.

Ramos

I wonder if Tiffany would mind if I borrowed her teeth? I need to grill some steaks.

Will not watch. I feel dumber from just having read this thread.

Jenny5150

If you look at any of the other videos, they clearly think they're some kind of comedians.

"Pageant Police" is a play on "Fashion Police," A show where Joan Rivers and some equally vicious critics blast celebrities for their recent fashion faux pas. I'm willing to bet these girls are being somewhat facetious.

Additionally, a tiny bit of research will show you that Tiffany was in the top 15 semi-finalists in the 2013 Miss Minnesota USA pageant. Esse, her sister, also just participated in Miss California USA 2013. Maybe some people just don't get their sense of humor.

These kids have no talent and are trying to get somewhere from making fun of people. It's their last resort because they aren't funny or good looking and they're just desperate for attention. Can't blame them, they have a pretty messed up family and parents.

Ramos

When Brittany makes fun of one of the contestants for looking like a horse ("Feed me grass! I'm a horse!"), I wonder if she realizes how much she resembles a horse herself. Actually, both Brittany and Tiffany strongly resemble horses. The last time I saw manes like those, they were neck and neck at the Belmont Stakes.

Ramos

They were probably both sired by the same stud.

Ramos

Maybe they should do a show where somebody asks them math questions and they stamp their hooves to give the right answer.

Sam

My hope is that Jenny5150 is right and they are actually lambasting "Fashion Police" rather than being so mean. The Archie Bunker character in All in the Family showed Americans how nasty racism and homophobia. Maybe they are trying to do what Archie Bunker did.

Herzog

Some people look like horses, others like frogs or tigers. I was once told I resembled a northern pike, I couldn't really disagree, I do kind of have Muskelungesque features. What am I gonna do? Myself kinda prefer chipmunky looking women, not squirrels so much. I did see a feline looking lady once in Madison. She was fine. I guess the horse looking ladies are in lesser demand, which is too bad.

Ramos

Two minutes of watching the Tarrolly video is enough to convince me that they don't have the slightest sense of satire behind their harpy-like sniping. Here's their analysis of the first pageant contestant.

Brittany: She doesn't have lips. Tiffany: Yeah, she's totally mouthless. B: Hey, do you want to fuck? I guess. It's not like you can get it. Shit. T: Well, and I wouldn't really want that mouth around my dick. B: Yeah. Or the nose size to be puncturing through your dick. If you had one. T: Not to mention, you know, with ears like this, you really shouldn't be accentuating them, like she is right here. B: Right, with a huge fucking line of cheap-ass fucking rhinestones from Claire's. Classy, bitch! I'd say a five, just because she's got nice titties.
See what I mean? Funny stuff, right?

vicarious

1. This may be the best, weirdest, ickiest, funniest, and/or worst/lamest PDD post of my roughly 9-year history here. I'm really not sure...

2. Why is Ramos so obsessed?

Ramos

Probably because I've had to listen to similar crap spewing out of the backseat of my cab for 10+ years, and I've never been able to respond. I can only imagine what a joy the Tarrolly sisters must be when they're drunk.

emmadogs

I'm just glad Ramos is back!

vicarious

Don't get me wrong...I'm very amused by Ramos' comments.

Ramos

To be fair, Tiffany and Brittany may not always be so disagreeable. Maybe they just didn't get their oats this morning.

Kip, DONT BLOW IT FOR US ;}

I quietly tried to say it without saying it in the post right after it above.

Ramos

I heard that the Tarrollys' neighbors complained about all the whinnying that goes on every morning.

Paul Lundgren

Yeah, yeah, so the background boobies have now been cropped out of the photo Hair of the Monk uploaded.

On one hand, it's just boobies and who cares? On the other hand, that woman did not appear to be someone who had consented to being photographed topless. Obviously the photo is from another site, so PDD can't completely protect against the sharing of her boobies, but we'd rather not play a part in it either.

BadCat!

I can't believe I wasted even more of my life trying to come up with a clever comment about cropped boobies.

Ramos

One advantage that Brittany and Tiffany Tarrolly have over the rest of us is that they can swish flies out of each other's face with their tails.

Ramos

I can't believe that the Tarrollys are using this thread as evidence that their stupid show is "raising some eyebrows" and "hitting the buzz line."

Not that I'm a fan of this, I do find it odd that negative comments concerning someone's choice of artistic expression are being allowed to stay on the page yet other's less than flattering remarks get deleted (regarding Cars & Trucks).

It's your place and you get to make your rules.

I'm just going to slam a few Pabst Blue Ribbons while stroking my beard waiting for my Luce pizza to arrive.

Ramos

The Tarrollys are repulsive, but I continue to stare at them with horrified fascination, as if they were exotic roadkill—a crushed emu, perhaps.

With their most recent video, the Tarrollys prove that they are not only moronic, but racist as well. Here's their treatment of an African-American contestant, which begins at the 1:54 mark.

Brittany: Welcome back, with Mariah Bay Jones! Tiffany: She's representing Bakersfield. Brittany: Miss Bakersfield! Ben, what do you give her? Ben: You know what, I guess, I mean, sure... B and T: [witchlike cackling] Ben: ...you know, it's hard sometimes. I'm not completely... T: Two hundred thirty girls. Let's be honest here. Ben: That's a lot of girls. I guess, you know, truthfully, at the end of the day... B and T: [witchlike cackling] Ben: ...I'm gonna have to call this one a four. T: I gotta say, for a second, I thought I was looking at the Mr. Gentleman USA Pageant. B: [cackles witchily] Ben: [laughs stupidly] B: Well, let's not kid ourselves. I'm a Tarrolly, and very honest. She's a one, if that. Maybe like a negative five. T: We might have to expand the scale to include negative. B: Right. Because of this bitch right here. What the hell is Miss California? What is the requirement? Ben: Heh. I mean, I gotta say... B: Possibly female? Possibly human? Ben: The hair does it for me. Okay? B: The hair? Fuck the hair! Look at the face! Ben: I mean, let's not be brutal at this. T: I'm looking at the shape, the chest, the hair, the face... B: I'm gonna be honest, when I saw Mariah Bay Jones, or whatever it is, I thought I was opening a National Geographic magazine, because I thought it was talking about evolution. T: Ooooooooooh! Ben: What, are you kidding me? You're like [starts grunting like a monkey and making monkey arm movements] Uh! Uh! Uh! B: [cackles]
Every time they open their mouths, the rottenness comes out. Can you believe these people think highly of themselves?

BadCat!

Ramos, that picture makes me giggle every time I see it!

vicarious

Maybe they'll quote me again. I'll even provide the quotes: "Brittany is really unattractive. There is really nothing worse than a person who thinks they're hot, but are really, really, truly not hot. Quite the opposite."

(Sorry, Paul.)

Ramos

To be fair, Vicarious, we've only seen Brittany sitting on a couch. If she was in her natural element, swinging through the trees or grooming lice from Tiffany's pelt, you might change your mind.

vicarious

Let's break it down. Angular manly horseface with a huge jawline, massive forehead ... and ...

wskyline

A lot of these comments are just as bad as the comments these girls are saying. Except worse, because it seems like you guys are smart enough to know that what they are saying is wrong and makes their personalities unattractive, and yet you are doing the exact same thing.

Bullying, making fun of someones appearance, weight, resemblance to horses are all rude and unbecoming even if they may have "asked for it" by putting themselves out there in this manner. My opinion of this group of commenters has dropped incredibly (though I doubt you care), there are many more positive things we should be focusing our time on instead of providing fuel for this disgusting fire these girls have created.

vicarious

Wskyline,

1. I think that's the point of these comments: to be a mirror to the awful ugliness (literal and figurative)

2. We are exorcising our S.A.D.

3. The tone and quality of PDD posts and comments has, as you mentioned, taken a nosedive. I am a guilty contributor to this malaise.

4. Brittany Whatshername is not attractive in the least.

5. I'm buying a cab.

Ramos

I'm sorry you feel that way, Wskyline. Every time I watch the Tarrollys -- people who have wealth, comfort, privilege, all the best that America has to offer -- spewing out their vile inner thoughts about people who (it should be noted) almost always belong to a lower class, I feel like going for their throats. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I doubt that anything I say could be construed as "bullying" when it's directed against the disgusting, viperish Tarrollys, who have every material advantage over me. I prefer to think of myself as an agent of karma.

I don't really feel like I'm adding fuel to the fire. Rather, I'm attempting to extinguish the fire the way firefighters do with some industrial accidents -- by detonating an even larger explosion.

In any case, I doubt it will last much longer. I feel calmer now. At peace. Posting that monkey picture implanted a deep satisfaction in my heart. Soon I will be able to move on to other things.

Like Vicarious, I humbly admit that I have contributed to PDD's recent nosedive. I just couldn't help it, man. It had to be. I'm sorry.

Ramos

And, to be honest, Brittany looks cuter as a snow monkey than a human.

wskyline

Vicarious, I would argue you aren't mirroring their ugliness, you are amplifying and spreading it. Here was this gross display of hatered for their fellow human beings, and instead of everyone on this site seeing it and thinking, "this is awful, the things they say are awful, let me never say such hurtful, vile, pointless words like these girls do. Instead, let it be a reminder of how ugly it really is when we spew such hate," instead it seems you thought, oh this is gross, let's throw it back in their face (becaus that will totally make a difference and they will stop and see how ugly they really are inside. Not.), and spread the hate to PDD, which (at least in the past year I have been reading) has never stooped so low as to tear apart someone's physical appearance.

Ramos, I understand completely wanting to make them shut up, I just don't understand stooping to their level and, in a way, justifying them talking shit about everyone. Why not at least go after them with intelligent thought for their lack of morals or disgusting sense of humor? Why stoop to the more base level of name calling/making fun of their faces? We aren't in elementary school, and I've read a lot of intelligent things from you, I'm one hundred percent certain you could come up with a better retort from them than calling them monkeys.

Ramos

No, calling them monkeys was the best. I still have little internal mini-celebrations when I think of it. It wasn't intelligent, but it was hilarious, and hilarity is a value I also hold in high esteem.

The intelligent part of my criticism consists of the transcripts I posted.

Herzog

Jesus West Skyline, do you cut twenty small pieces of flesh off your arm every morning and bare it to the arctic winds so you can truly understand man's suffering?

I think it's refreshing to see some women behaving like men for once. This whole world is about to do the opposite on a global scale for the first time in human existence. Men will become like parlor toys, as the better halves of our female natures take over and turn this place into a godforsaken Utopia. Let's for once savor a moment or two of women behaving barbarically while we still can?

Herzog

Ramos, when you're as funny as me, I'll let you know.

vicarious

I do feel a tinge of regret. I just got caught up on the Ramos train to hilarity. It's been a fun ride.
