Gear Stolen from Sacred Heart Studio

Sunday afternoon Sept 30 someone entered Sacred Heart Studio while I was in the back office and made off with two items; a green Matchless DC 30 combo guitar amplifier and a red Fender PJ bass. I am posting a picture of a similar amp.
The theft has been reported to the police.

So, I need some resolution here — how did this play out?
The Craigslist ad was pulled within hours. I have no idea if this was the thieves or not.
Amp and bass are still missing and any help in getting them returned would be greatly appreciated.
Serial number of the bass is V031901. Bass is a red Fender Jazz Bass Special: P Bass body, PJ pickups, no pickguard, rosewood Jazz Bass neck, reverse tuners.
