I am Manitou and so are you

Manitou, referring to spirit beings in Algonquian groups of Native Americans, is also the name of a river along Minnesota’s north shore. The Manitou River runs through George Crosby Manitou State Park where I decided to camp alone Saturday night.

  1. Crosby Manitou is one of my favorite sections of the SHT! I’ve spent many weekends over the last 10 years or so. #5 on the ridge is probably one of the best and snowshoeing to the cascades is an easy spectacular hike. | Aug 26, 2012 | New Comment

  3. This is the first raw, natural, and uncensored post I’ve read on PDD in years. It took balls to post it.

You’re keeping it real, and I appreciate it.
