Which trails are usable right now?

Can anyone give me some tips on which trails are usable after our recent monsoons?  I tried to run in Bagley Nature Area early last week and even after one day of heavy rain it was pretty soaked. I’m looking for somewhere on the east side of the city to take a run tonight.  Hawk Ridge is my favorite, but I’m guessing it will be a complete mud pit for a while.

It's not on the eastern side of the city (obviously) but the Western Waterfront Trail usually holds up pretty well under heavy rain.

You might have to resign yourself to either gravel or pavement for a few days ... or running the beach at Park Point. There are quite a few options available in general, but if the trail has got to be dirt you're probably out of luck. But maybe someone wiser than me will have a tip. We'll see.

Pretty much everywhere is wet. It is supposed to rain again on Friday. COGGS has told its members to not ride on trails until further notice. It's probably best to stay off them for now.

If Bagley was too wet, you would want to stay off the rest of the trails on the east side. Bagley is usually the only runnable trail if the others are wet, due to the shear amount of wood chips kept on the trail by the UMD grounds crew.

I just came up through the lower portion of Chester (Burrito Union to the Bridge). It's passable, with a little bit of mud to contend with. So long as you're running the ravine, you might be fine.

I went out to Lester Park on Monday for a long walk and it was muddy in places but passable.

I walked Bagley yesterday with my running crew and it wasn't too bad.  There was one really muddy loop on the lower part of Bagley but the rest was really easy to run around.  I enjoyed it!

None of it is on the east side, but I've done bits of the Superior Hiking Trail this week that aren't too bad. Sections on both sides of Enger Tower weren't too bad- hiked them in my work pants and didn't have change before returning to work. Also, the SHT sections on either side of Haines Rd (CSAH 91) were pretty good. Pretty rocky, and higher elevations. Also did some of Lincoln Park's main trail over the weekend, after most of the rain, and it wasn't too bad.
