Set out a bunch of Chinese takeout containers in a Buffet-like setting and they will know what to do. Any Chinese food place will likely have large portions and send along plates and silverware if you ask for it. You should bring serving spoons for each dish so that you don't have to use the plastic stuff to dish up. We did Chinese food for an 8 yo's birthday party and had a good experience. I don't know how much it cost, but there was plenty of food for the 15 hungry farm workers who were there that day. In the past, Grandma's Corporation has been extremely generous in providing discounted pizza's. Ironically, with their tie to Chun King, they have unfortunately not yet opened a Chinese Restaurant.
