Duluth News Tribune: “Police hope for downtown Citizen Patrol”
Let’s take back Downtown Duluth together! Tuesday, Feb. 21, 10 a.m. at the Greysolon Plaza Fireside Room.
I think I’ll show up and let them know I saw a bunch of police stealing cash and computers from a local business.
Or people could just report suspecious activity and then we wouldn’t need to give some busy-bodies something to do.
Is this entirely necessary? Judging from the Duluth Crime Map the majority of crime downtown is domestic disputes and shoplifting. Pretty sure business owners are on top of the shoplifting. I’m guessing all this is going to accomplish is nosy people in “appropriate attire” yelling at people smoking Spice.
How about the Duluth Clean and Safe Team and its $6,000 Segway does the job it’s paid handsomely for?
This is so dumb on so many levels. Where do I apply and is a civil service test required?
I just want people to stop leaving bodily fluids on the sidewalks.
Will Curtis Sliwa be there?
I’d be happy to sponsor a group of thugs with baseball bats to attend to people in Lakeside who don’t pick up after their dogs.
I’d be happy to ticket all the cars that continue to park illegally on the street and sidewalk outside Holy Rosary every Saturday afternoon.
Stop strips and tire spikes for college kids who continue speed along East Tenth Street/Belmont/Eden/Chester Park Drive?
Citizens hope for downtown Duluth police patrol.
