Some things I have noticed is that it can take a lot of time to upload the tunes which is a ram/bandwidth hog on my machine. Also as a DJ/music enthusiast the 20,000 song limit is not nearly enough to get everything in the cloud. Although, there is a lot of crap in my library and you could potentially cull the tracks you don't want to make more room. This goes to the album vs. playlist approach to music that is essentially a philosophical question without answer. As for playback, I was enthusiastic about the potential for this technology to essentially eliminate the need for me to "have" music and yet to have access to it immediately at all times and everywhere. Revolutionary. Except, not yet. The playback stutters bit, and occasionally tracks get mislabeled or truncated. I think google music is great, I just thought that I'd share some experiences with its (current) shortcomings. For now, for stored music, I still endorse I Tunes as the cleanest, most practical medium for the way that I use it. But same thing you will need a decent data connection to stream the music that you have not sync'd locally with your device.
