Cravaack New Hampshire Dodgeball
By wildgoose on Jan 10, 2012 in Current Events, Media Watch, Overheard in Duluth, Politics
Of all the obvious jabs at MN 8th District Congressman Raymond “Chip” Cravaack for moving to New Hampshire – which reached a fever pitch today for the New Hampshire primary – this is definitely the funniest. (Note to moderators, it’s blatantly partisan, certain to test the new commenting policy).
Not sure if the movie clips are fair-use or not so I suppose it could get yanked at any time.

It would be awesome if one of the 8 bazillion journalists in NH right now got a picture of Chippers leaving a voting booth.
He’s got a “full schedule” in MN this week. Not sure if that’s a happy coincidence for him or what. But he’s nowhere near New Hampshire. I imagine the Twin Cities’ media, stinging from the loss of Bachmann on the scene, would have loved to get a shot of him stumping or doing anything related to the New Hampshire primary. He appears to be getting better political advice otherwise he might’ve been there. Of course, that’s all speculation.
To be fair, Wildgoose, comedy writers everywhere are stinging from the loss of Bachmann.
Of course, it was her special kind of crazy that kept the heat off Santorum and Gingrich.
I liked how the video helped illustrate that Cravaack was playing “dodgeball” by playing a clip from the movie Dodgeball.
Yeah. I turned it off at that point.
I wanted to like this video, but setup not worth punch line.
Still, at least his answer to the question was as bad as I expected.
Wow, what a weasel Cravaack is. Well, I don’t think he will be around much longer as our congressman…
358 days can’t come soon enough for me, Claire.
Maybe we need to start a daily countdown here to go along with Ramos’s TDOB count-up for the Last Place on Earth.
If someone who has moved out of the district is re-elected to serve this district as congressman, I will lose all faith in my fellow citizens.
I like the idea of a countdown.
Most people who voted for him won’t be too upset if he loses this year. Oberstar still won’t be our Congressman anymore.
