Mentor Duluth on Kare-11 Tuesday night

The KARE-11 special tonight from 7-8 p.m. on channel 11 focuses on youth mentoring. Several mentor programs will be featured including Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities, Parenting with a Purpose, Bolder Options, Kinship of Greater Minneapolis, Northside Achievement Zone, Courage Center and the Y’s Mentor Duluth!

Program Coordinator for Mentor Duluth, Dave Schaefer will be participating in this TV news event. Federated Insurance is sponsoring the show. You will see many familiar faces! A live phone bank will also be part of the call to action. See the link below for more information.

To my knowledge, there is no channel 11 in Duluth. Charter Cable channel 11 is the local Fox 21 station, isn't it? ( I don't have cable, so maybe I don't know what I'm saying here.)

I realize KARE 11 is based in the Twin Cities. I'm wondering if it's picked up on local cable or not.

Thanks for your comments.  The post is a result of a brand new Marketing Director at the Y (me) who is as new to the Y as she is to Duluth!  The quick answer to seeing this broadcast is to go to Kare 11 online.  The Y's Mentor Duluth is featured along with our coordinator Dave Schaefer.  So I am wondering along with Paul... can this be seen in Duluth?

As far as I know, there was no way to watch it on TV in Duluth through any television package.  But the entire program is available online in five parts.
