Music Resource Center pilot project teens to perform

The Music Resource Center-Duluth’s pilot program will hold an open house on Thursday, July 14 from 7 to 10 p.m. to celebrate the successful completion of the first phase of its pilot program.

The open house will be held at Sacred Heart Music Center 201 W 4th Street (2nd Avenue West and 4th Street) in downtown Duluth, where the program is being housed until the Duluth Armory is restored, when it will become the MRC-Duluth’s permanent home. Students from the first pilot program series will perform original music written and recorded during the first MRC session. Special musical guests will also perform at the open house. A CD with songs from the first MRC series will be available as well.

A $10 suggested donation at the door will allow for the purchase of more equipment for the next series.

Information on the next series, to start up again in the Fall, will be available at the show.
