Please bring a bandana or cap/hat to wear to keep your head covered and warm. This will also allow the oil to remain on the head for a while, which is very beneficial. Oil washes out simply with gentle herbal shampoo, no conditioner needed!

Space is limited so, Please call or e-mail to schedule your time. Thanks!

WHAT IS SHIRODHARA?
The word ‘shiro’ means head and the word ‘dhara’ means stream. This deeply relaxing treatment involves pouring a stream of warm organic oil over the forehead for 20-30 minutes. Based on individual need the oil may be infused with essential oil or Ayurvedic herbs.

Calms the nervous system, headache relief, regulate high blood pressure, better sleep, PTSD, dandruff or dry hair, depression, anxiety, forgetfulness, lack of concentration, improves the function of the 5 senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste), self esteem and intelligence, tension or anger, brings a renewed and uplifted view to life.

Please note: Shirodhara is not recommended for those who are in their third trimester of pregnancy, have severe neck pain/or recent neck or head injury, very low blood pressure, epileptic, undergoing treatment for brain tumors, have an aversion to oil, have open sores on scalp, or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
