Get Low’s New Album, C’mon, on the Cheap
By Barrett Chase on Apr 12, 2011 in Music, Recommendations

A heads-up for frugal Duluthians, Low’s new album, C’mon, is Amazon’s MP3 Daily Deal today. You can download the whole album for only $3.99, or you can download track one, “Try to Sleep,” for absolutely free.

Low will be in-studio at KUMD 103.3 FM on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Christine Dean.
You can also buy the LP at the Fetus, get a code for a “free” MP3 album download, and also a free (CD)EP of several of the songs done acoustically.
-as an aside, I’ve really enjoyed the (kinda) recent trend towards releasing LPs and including MP3 downloads with the vinyl. You get the quality of the LP, and the large format artwork, but also the portability and ease of the MP3. win-win.
Thanks, Edgeways. I’ve made quite a few vinyl-with-download purchases lately, and it really is the way to go. So glad about this trend.
Total win. Preordering the new Fleet Foxes on both CD and LP … for posterity, ya know.
