Very cool. However, is it me or are tickets going on sale way, way early for this?

This is the best news I've heard all day! Why haven't I heard about this before?

Willie and TBT, sounds awesome and I am in, but I am sure someone will find reason to bitch about this, the city of Duluth and Samborski.

Does anyone know of anywhere local that we can buy the tickets for (at the actual $35 price). I hate giving Ticketmaster $11.37 per ticket.

Jen - I was told you can get tickets at the gate for $45 ... a little better anyway, and I doubt it will sell out.

Here's the latest word from Steve Grazier, president of Secret Service Entertainment, on Saturday's concert:

General admission tickets will be available at the door for $45 flat -- no additional fees or taxes. The box office is in the Bayfront Family Center Building, right before the main gates at Bayfront. The box office opens at noon. Gates at 5 p.m. Music at 6p.m. It is selling super well, but it is a large park, and I am sure we will not reach a sellout position where we would have to stop admitting people.

I'm dropping in with a parachute like D. B. Cooper, aiming for the drums. Getting shot in as a human cannonball would be cool too.
