Hello all! I am pleased to invite you to a wonderful, spectacular art opening on Friday, March 25.  The exhibit will be open from 7-10 pm at the Old European Bakery on West First street.  This event is free and open to the public!

The artists’ statement is as follows:

Five emerging Minnesota artists will be showcasing new sculptural work in an upcoming exhibition titled Furniture Music.   The exhibition will be housed at the old European Bakery on West First Street in Duluth.  The work contrasts well against the gutted, raw interior of the building; transforming the space into a new concept of what is possible for the Duluth art scene.  The show is one night only, reception starting at 7 pm on March 25, and will be running till 10 pm.

“Each artist has their own unique take on abstraction, yet all are grappling with the same basic principles of materiality, space and energy.”
