Oh, the possibilities

Okay, I need a little help. I finally got a M-F, 9-5 job in Duluth and will not have to work weekends for the first time since I was 14 years old. I have a 1 year old daughter and want to take advantage of some weekend family activities but have been out of the loop for a while. What is out there that I may have forgot or have not heard about yet?
There’s a place called Canal Park in Duluth.
art. its everywhere.
DPL does kid stuff on some weekends, and movies, too.
Karpeles is good.
Anywhere, anytime -- the great outdoors!
Twin Ports Gymnastics in Superior. $2 for kids’ fun and games every Saturday.
I didn’t want to have to be the one to mention this, but you appear to live in Duluth. If you’re not a clique member or fall out of society, there are no activities. Good luck.
Fred, something tells me that you actually did want to be the one to mention that.
Duluth is a great place to raise children, Nyabuk. Duluth Children’s Museum and the Train Museum, heck, the Depot in general provide hours of entertainment — esp when it’s cold and snowy out.
Saturday mornings there are preschool programs at Hartley. The public library is a good source for learning about things like this too.
Go to the park. Go to another park. Throw rocks. Look at the different buildings in Duluth.
Kerc mentioned the library. While there check out the free passes to places like the Depot and Zoo!
Don’t listen to Fred, he’s a pessimistic troll (as if there were any other kind). There’s plenty going on here for the kids, in clique or out. Hell, most of the “clique” have kids too. Some of us are even fun to hang around with on occasion.
PDD playdate @ Chester sledding hill, anyone?
