14th Annual Franconia Sculpture Park Art and Artists Celebration
Saturday · September 25th · 10:00am to 9:00pm · Rain or Shine
. . . is a day-long festival celebrating the artists, the new sculpture installations, and our amazing community. A full day’s entertainment with artist-led tours, live music, dance, poetry, kids’ activities, and great food.
This year’s Franconia Fellowship and Intern Artists will be exhibiting their new sculpture installations – some interactive, some climbable, most simply amazing. There will be artist-led tours of the exhibition for those who like to get the inside scoop on the artists and their work.

If any of you haven’t even been to Franconia you’ve been missing out. These are sculptures on a grand scale. They make the Walker sculpture park look like a walk in the park.
This place is open to the public always, but its events are extra special. So, if you don’t make it to this event, at least schedule a time when you check out the park itself. Also there are good camping and hiking spots in both Taylors Falls and St. Croix Falls, although except the dam, there aren’t actually any waterfalls. It’s worth a trip, and taking the Wisconsin route is faster and a bit more scenic.
Second that. One of the coolest places on Earth.
This poster doesn’t say where it is.
Hillsider= yes, it has the address at the bottom. If you google it, a map will show up, too.

It is incredibly easy to get to from both the MN or WI side.
