Duluth gets a shout out at the :35 second mark.

So, did anyone else see Eddie Money’s show at the Head of the Lakes Fair in the 1990s? He was annihilated!
I was there. I remember one of his daughters playing with barbie dolls on the stage way before the concert started. I wish the fair would bring back bands like that. I saw 38 Special there … Loverboy … and yes I remember Eddie Money feeling no pain that night.
Maybe that’s why Money emphasized in the paper today that he doesn’t party it up before shows anymore…
My cousin told me that Eddie Money once asked him if he had any pot while they were peeing next to each other before one of his shows at the Cove.
Will Cousin Eddie be there?
I wish the fair would bring back bands like that.
Survivor played there this summer. I’d put them in the same class as Loverboy and .38 Special.
Blue Oyster Cult played there a few years ago (’07, I think). So did the Little River Band. I think they still have the same kinds of bands they always have.
Blue Oyster Cult played the Head of the Lakes Fair on July 27, 2007 — a date that shall live in infamy. Burn out the day!!! Burn out the night!!!
Eddie Money used to be so young, so hot. Now he’s just a middle-aged guy from Long Island. But it was a fun show. Some of the people I was hanging with thought he’d had a few drinks before the show.
What did Eddie get with his two tickets to paradise?
Two chancres and crab lice.
Every time the subject of Eddie Money comes up, I have to share this comic.
The Smithereens were at the Head of the Lakes in 98 and Soul Asylum in 99.
Barrett, that comic pretty much sums up last night’s show, except it was free.
