We went through a phase of Sloe Gin mixed with Minute Maid Orange Soda. We worked at Subway at the time, so it was free. One night we were partying, and one guy in in particular got really bad. He was drinking Bud Dry and Sloe Gin mixed together in his Subway Comeback Cup. Later that night he urinated in my parents fridge.

Though I should love sloe gin, I had a massive teen bender on it, and I still can’t go near it. Same with Peppermint schnapps.

Once at the Kom-On-Inn the owner broke out some
bourbon with tax stamps from 1952 (Old Taylor)
It was amazing, sadly she seemed to be using most of it to make whiskey cokes and such.

When anyone says “sloe gin fizz,” I am immediately transported to the ’70s and the Brass Phoenix lounge!

Bailey’s Irish Creme, on the other hand, does NOT keep for 15 years in a cabinet, though the memory of the boyfriend who left it there won’t die.
