8,500 for concerts…which still keeps us out of the running for a lot of the really cool concerts that often visit venues such as the acoustically horrific Target Center or Xcel…
Hockey blows.
$80 million for hockey and concerts, but we couldn’t get $16 to get the poop out of the lake? Our priorities blow.
I wish more hockey players knew how to blow.
It should say: “We *hope* the 1% food and beverage tax will fund 27 percent. If it falls short, we’ll have to raise your property taxes.”
Also, it’s 0.75%, not 1%.
$80 million. That’s a few laid off park & rec workers… at health care CEO salaries.
