Today is one of four days of reckoning for the self-employed among us. I thought it was funny that these were the only stamps I had left on the sheet to put on my federal and state estimated payments.

Talk of estimated tax day saddens me more each year. 

Although, I must say that I now have yet another reason to smile about being laid off this year. If you only knew... :)

I always let my income tax build up into one big annual payment. It's sort of like ripping a bandage off instead of slowly peeling.
