Voodoo Bus
By Paul Lundgren on Jul 2, 2009 in Music

There will be a chartered bus from Superior to Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield for the July 11 Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert. The round-trip costs $10 per person. It leaves at 5 p.m. from Wessman Arena on the UWS campus and will return that evening.
Seats can be reserved by calling the KUWS office at (715) 394-8530. Call on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and ask for Kim Gustafson.

$10 for the bus ride only? A good deal, but you still need tix to he show, right?
does the bus also transport you to 1996 when ska was cool
Yes, tickets to the show must be purchased separately.
And yes, the bus will travel back in time to 1996.
…that was mean sorry, couldn’t hold it in. Definitely liked ska at a point in my life.
Ska was much cooler in 1983.
Where is the bus tomorrow night for Robert Cray? I guess I will have to walk…
There are shuttles from Ashland, Washburn and Bayfield for Robert Cray. It’s still a long walk from Superior though to catch those.
Swingers, the movie changed drove the second half of the 90s for me. Until I gave up and realized I was never gonna be as cool as those particular unemployed creative types, that is.
in a somewhat related comment… I’m airing an interview I recently conducted with Warren Haynes of Gov’t Mule (who are playing the Big Top July 7th) tonight on my radio show. I’ll also be giving away some Gov’t Mule dvds and a pair of tickets to the 10,000 Lakes Festival.
hey – i rarely advertise on PDD and this seemed to fit!
