So, I am ready to buy four chickens and a coop from a local person but he has five more chickens to sell before he can give me the chicken coop. The chickens are now just laying. They are six months old and he is asking $10.00 a piece. The breed is light Brahmans and are suppose to be winter hardy and have a nice disposition. So, if anyone would like to buy the other five so I can get a chicken coop, let Paul know and he will hook us up. Thanks Paul, Denise

From what I observed in Tijuana; any respectable chicken coup needs to be framed around either an old washing machine, dryer or deadlined auto. Kinda like Tom’s Burned Down; but on a smaller scale.

Thanks for all the good ideas everyone. I will be in the planning phase while on vacation next week and will probably get ahold of wildgoose when I get back. (A little in awe of meeting the Speedy Weinie guy in person outside of the booth)

The new Menard's in Hermantown has clearance lumber in the way back yard. I saw a stack of knotty fenceposts last time I was there.

Bummer @ Common Ground. I've got their fridge magnet up on the filing cab by my computer. There usually isn't much in the way of cheap plywood at Menard's, but they usually have a bunch of handyman-type boards available.

You can always go to home depot or menards and get culled lumber(lumber not good for finish product) for pennies on the dollar. We do it at the Lowes I work at in New Hampshire, but it is a little far to drive for $1 sheets of plywood. hehe
