i played “every rose” at my very first live performance ever. it was one of two songs i did at a retirement assembly for george downs at macarthur-west. the other song was specifically written for mr. downs, and it was called “sayin’ goodbye.”
but back to the videos: there’s not actually a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on in that second one. greg actually seems fairly uninterested in the whole concept of shakin’.
Considering the number of hits this is getting on youtube, I’d say it’s high time for a Young Goodmann Brown 20th Anniversary show. Whatta ya say Greg? I’m sure Joe and Steve would be up for it. How about BG?
dan, shouldn’t you have gotten in trouble for exploiting 16 year old boys like myself and bryon in your videos?
my level of enthusiasm for the material we were doing is readily apparent! i can actually see myself in those videos pining to write and perform really bad grunge and cure rip-off songs.
damn, you beat me to the punch, baci.
there are more where this came from. wait ’til you see “earth angel.”
I told myself I wouldn’t cry today…I guess I’ll have to wait ’til tomorrow (sniffle).
Omg. Do you have any footage of the Aerial? Would love to see pepé hosting again.
Christ, it’s only March 1 and Baci has already won Blogger of the Month.
