It Once Was a Palace
Superior's Palace Theater was torn down last week. Jan Provost, who said her first job was at the Palace, stopped by this morning to grab a brick as a keepsake.
"The wrecking ball had a hard time with this building," she said. "It bounced like you wouldn't believe."

I was sad to see it go. I'd never been inside it, and it looked like it was in real rough shape, but it's still a shame to see it go.

The Norshor and The Palace is where we saw most of our movies as little kids. I distinctly remember seeing The Muppet Show and Smokey and the Bandit at The Palace.
